Overview

Serving the community for over 70 years, PFARS is a volunteer-led, non-profit, independent organization dedicated to providing the Princeton community with professional, courteous and skilled emergency medical and technical rescue service.

PFARS is headquartered at the corner of North Harrison Street and Clearview Avenue in Princeton Township, New Jersey. The building houses three ambulances and a technical rescue truck. PFARS also operates a four-wheel drive utility vehicle, an eight-man Zodiac boat, a special services and rehab vehicle and a first-response car.

PFARS boasts a membership of over 90 dedicated volunteer and career members. These highly trained individuals come from all walks of life yet have one thing in common – a desire to help those in need. PFARS members supplement their EMT certifications and extensive experience with ongoing internal training, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality patient care.

Located in the northwestern corner of Mercer County, our jurisdiction is bordered by West Windsor, Plainsboro, Lawrenceville, Kingston, Montgomery, Hopewell and Rocky Hill.
