PFARS operates a state-of-the-art fleet of eight (8) emergency vehicles, including three (3) ambulances, a rescue truck, a special services truck, a marine unit, a utility truck, and a first response car.
Each vehicle has been custom designed by the Squad to provide maximimum functionality based upon our operational needs. A committee is formed to determine the Squad's desired specifications. Apparatus are then sent out to bid. Apparatus are on a replacement schedule appropriate to each vehicle, and an in-depth preventative maintenance program overseen by the Squad's Head Driver.
