The Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad offers two levels of American Heart Association CPR classes, ranging from introductory to advanced:

Heartsaver CPR BLS for Healthcare Providers
This certification course is intended for laypeople who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities, who want to learn to use an AED (defibrillator), or who would like an AHA Heartsaver CPR certification card. Certification last for 2 years. (3 ½ - 4 hours)

Heartsaver classes are offered as the demand arises. While there is no fixed schedule, if your organization (from business to group of friends) is interested in a class, please contact us and we can make arrangements. The fee is $50 per person.

This certification course is for health care providers, such as EMS personnel and nurses, or others who need certification in Healthcare Provider CPR (also known as Basic Life Support). This also satisfies the "CPR for the Professional Rescuer" requirement. Certification lasts for 2 years. (Full class: 4 ½ hours, Recertification: 3 hours)

Healthcare Provider classes are offered approximately once every 4 months. Classes are scheduled approximately one month in advance, so check back for details if the class is currently listed as TBA. The fee is $50 per person and includes a textbook.
